Henry Cooldown NoMoreHeroes
First impression left him on a good note with Gyro. The guy seems friendly, respectful, and enjoys the company of animals, all that alone suggests someone better to get to know early on. There's a lot of people he's met who things haven't gone as smooth with, and considering this place he's in now? Seems smart to befriend those that leave a good taste in his mouth. Ah- figure of speech. Just seems weird though, the guy seems a bit on his toes already around him, he's got no idea why. He thought they left off on a good note the first time they spoke. Slowly though he's starting to feel like he forgot something though. Something about Henry.

Or maybe not Henry alone... He remembers fighting with him, those odd monsters in that crystal corpse on the beach, right? But after that- why does he keep bringing up a blank?

Petra Ral Attack on Titan
Bitch aleeert woowoowoo! What is WITH this girl? He met her once, she seemed okay, and then she flips at him in a library. It feels like she's just too tightly wound or something. She's familiar though, did he piss her off at some point without knowing it? Or maybe he just caught her on the wrong day.

Either way? He's not sure what he did to really get on her nerves but it's obvious she's got something against him. It's really too bad he doesn't remember his actual first meeting with her. Some pretty nice anonymous sex in masks, nope, that girl from that night? She's still anonymous to him, though Petra's figured it out, not that Gyro's ever been good at not being himself or working anonymously. So far Petra and he just keep rubbing the wrong way. Looks like he might have to just not kn ow who she is in order to rub the right way.

Campanella Frühling Dogs: Bullets & Carnage DROPPED
Attractive, strong, the sort of woman you want watching your back and in your bed- if she wasn't so terrible. The woman seems to have a really skewed view of the world, whether that's because of her own experiences or just how she was raised, it's not exactly a mindset he agrees with. But hey, maybe it was just a misunderstanding? Still, she's got a pretty sword at her side, so it doesn't seem like a good idea to get in the wrong with her just yet. Maybe better to stay away. Ugh, women.

Hōka Inumuta Kill La Kill DROPPED
Asshole.

Well okay he's more than an asshole. He's a self confident, seemingly very intelligent asshole, and really those adjectives should make him a hell of a lot worse. But actually- he was pretty fun to talk to, if overly cocky. And he will not be sucking his dick, that joke can go on forever but it's gonna stay a fucking joke.

Inumuta continues to prove to be helpful despite his tendency to be a brat, though to be honest, Gyro usually gets along with brats. He's had a few drinks with the kid and even though he blacked out on Gyro and ended up leading to him not getting a nice date with a girl after (since he had to bring the lightweight home)- but he's not really that salty about it. Gyro actually likes to help people, even if he'll bitch.

Though- he might be salty once he finds out he's gotten closer to this guy than he knows about, anonymous intimacy led to some interesting encounters, one that was with some robot looking guy in a full head mask. Guess who? Not that Gyro's got a clue yet.

Shirō Iori Kill La Kill
Iori continues to prove to be a helpful and active sort. He seems a lot like someone that's fought the good fight and still has some life in him. Though a lot about the guy comes off as a little battered, even with how small and fragile he looks. Gyro couldn't help himself when he noticed his hands either, and was quick to try and help him out, returning some sense of feeling to Iori's hands.

It's been a little while since he's seen or spoken to him though, and oddly enough, he finds himself worrying about the kid. He hears a lot about him from other people, makes it hard to no think about the guy.

Ryunosuke Tanaka Haikyuu
One of the few people Gyro has met and hit it off with immediately, though it might be saying something that Tanaka's a bit young. Gyro's young at heart after all, so his sense of humour tends to be a bit sillier and campier than people his age. But he and Tanaka? Smooth sailing.

Things started off kind of physical, offering up a massage after some gloating about it to prove himself, though it only got a bit worse. Being comfortable around someone in this sort of place meant a wide range of things could happen. But it's Tanaka, and he'll keep comfortable around the kid. He can't help but feel like an older brother in a way though, he worries about him. The sort of things that happen in this world, Tanaka doesn't seem ready for it, so he'd like to be around in case anything happens. Not that much does for a while.

No, they get some bumps in the road but as their friendship coasts it only starts to get smoother. Something about Tanaka really calms him and out of everyone he's met in this world, he sort of feels like he's most himself around this kid. Maybe it's just because Tanaka's younger ontop of that good heart he's got in his chest. But Tanaka rolls with Gyro's punches and seems to be understanding enough to let the cowboy just 'be'. It's comforting, and it's making Gyro open up more without even thinking about it. He's pretty thankful for him, even if he ends up taking Tanaka for granted sometimes.

Jin Samurai Champloo
They've both been chased. People wanting their heads, they've both had to run while still having their own lives ahead of them. They've both known seclusion, though of different types, and they've both dedicated themselves to their technique and ability. Jin and Gyro are incredibly similar people and it's both why they're so damn awkward around eachother and close at the same time.

A life for a life, that's how it started. Jin saved his then Gyro saved his back. They already fought alongside eachother before they ever got intimate, though it seemed to be easy to get closer once there was some liquor in either of them. It didn't help that Jin was so slender and pretty to Gyro, but really it was just something about how easy it was to be around Jin for Gyro. He doesn't know it's because they've lived such similar lives, but they just felt like- kindred spirits.

Already with nicknames for eachother, Signore Samurai and Cowboy-san, they hit it off quick and since then Gyro's found it often that he had the other man in his life. At first there was worry though, drinking with him, he got touchier than he meant to, and wasn't sure if that ended up fucking up a potential friendship. After all, his only experience with gaining a friend was Johnny and that always just- felt like fate. Effortless. This felt different, felt like he was messing it up already which proved to be utter bullshit. He can't really imagine not having this guy by his side when things get rough here, and he doesn't mind having him by his side when he wakes up in the morning either.

Jin's a good person, that alone made him someone Gyro wanted in his life, but more and more is he getting the idea that Jin really does just NEED people in his life. It's not his business, what's happened in Jin's past, but when Jin tried to kill himself... it makes you curious. Makes you worry. Gyro isn't the type to worry and still he doesn't know what to do about Jin. They lack communication is what it comes down to. So while Gyro cares about him, sees something like himself in Jin, he just... doesn't know how to deal with him. Should he be doing something more? He always thought that if and when he got friends they would just sort of, ya know, work. That's how friendships appeared, that you just work with certain people and that's what makes you friends. He's learning now that maybe sometimes you do have to actually talk and work things out.

Too bad talking about shit is tough for him, especially when he feels emotionally pressured.

Mary Spencer Trinity Blood
Okay so it wasn't the best start to a friendship, he'll agree there, but then, he's never really trying to get along with people, he just will or he won't. That and he generally just wasn't good with women anyway? But he liked her despite the rough start.

She was pretty. She was strong, and independent. Women like that could be hard to come by in his world and it was a nice change. It hadn't really prepared him for her to want for his company later though. He played around with the idea, but when she accepted and offer to meet a second time after a brief hello, he was surprised. She's a woman like he isn't used to, and he continues to be interested in her.

Interested in her sister too, but that's for a lot more innocent reason than it sounds. Well- he was interested, until he ended up in a compromising situation with said sister. It could've really ended badly for his potential friendship with Mary but things still seem to be okay... though for the most part it's pretty casual.

Max Rockatansky Mad Max DROPPED
For the record, he found this guy in the middle of assfuck no where, limping towards the wastelands. Yeah, the wastelands apparently full of monsters and diseases and dinosaurs or whatever the fucking hell this place tells them is out there. So it was hard not to interrupt Max's hobbling in favour of a conversation. Not that you could get much of a conversation out of the guy.

Which really? It's not a bad thing. Max let out an air of wise, experienced maturity and it reminded him of the good qualities of his father. Max was easy to be around, easy to talk to despite his quick, scarce responses. But he said what needed to be said and listened. Not that Gyro really needed to get along with someone to worry about them, it was easy to fall into wanting to help this guy with his knee. So he did.... and it. Well 'assfuck nowhere' might have been purposely said for foreshadowing reasons.

Suffice to say the intimacy was both a surprise and helpful though, Max was the first person he slept with in this world and it sort of rocked it into normalcy for him. He's young, healthy, and while he fucked around back home when he got the time, he was never that intune with his sexuality. He did what was easy, what made sense. Which wasn't fucking men. So with Max it was weird, but surprisingly easy. The whole relating him to his dad thing just ended up being weird as fuck, didn't help that Max never said his name so now all he had to go by for the guy was 'daddy'. But Max was so much his own person away from it that it was all right. And he was fierce, and aggressive, and at the same time so calm and be easy around. If it wasn't for him, Gyro wouldn't have mellowed out around the idea of being with a guy as easily.

He can't say he hasn't thought about it since either... But even though they'd been like that, it was staying easy to be around him, and now he's going as far to help Max look for parts to build a car. The guy was someone worth the effort, but things he says- Gyro's not often a curious or nosy person, but a man like Max...

You can't help but wonder what he's gone through. Stories like that, it could teach him somethings. The guy should write a book, he's better on paper or in text anyway.

Maraich Patalliro! DROPPED
A kind person, the sort that offered up help despite barely knowing him. Gyro's not sure if this guy is just naive or soft hearted but he's willing to take the hand outs if they're given. He's not the sort and eat and run though, and plans to keep his end of his deal.

His experience with him first hand is scarce though, he really knows nothing about this person not that he needs to. There's some worry there about how often this guy manages to get into trouble... How often is he going to have to pick this dude's ass up and get the fuck out before anything worse happens? He's not doubting it yet, but he hopes he won;t doubt agreeing to be security for his buildings in Midas Park.

Samus Aran Metroid
The strong women showing up in his life is continuing to become some theme. Not that he's complaining. Though this one he found in a bit of a pickle. She wasn't the sort to cry out though and despite him resetting her limbs and broken bones- she did amazingly well. He did his best not to stare too much at her body too but it was... a little difficult/ Samus held strong though, and he can respect that in a person.

Still his first impression of her was that she was a little on the dull side, maybe the all business sort, but what he's starting to see aside from that's been nice. He's wondering if he can get her to loosen up a bit more. He's respect her even more if she could laugh alongside keeping strong in difficult times.

Uta Tokyo Ghoul
Man, fuck this guy.

See if he'll wear a speedo for you again. Jerkoff.

Noiz DRAMAtical Murder
Some punk kid he met under strange circumstances. But it just so happens those strange circumstances led to Gyro figuring out a secret of Noiz's. He's still a punk, don't get Gyro wrong, but he seems like the sort of punk that just hasn't grown up yet, maybe you could blame it on a lack of good parenting. And you know what?

He seems a little scared. And a lot of pissed off at the world.

So he helped him, and he'll keep doing it, as long as the guy shows at least a little respect. But Noiz pushes the line of too bratty for Gyro's patience. He's just lucky Gyro's such a good guy, and sees something else in there aside from some staple gunned screen jockey. Fact is, he sees more every time they meet. Noiz for the most part seems pretty emotionally detached from everything but it seems like to Gyro that something else is going on there. There's a story. Not a story he's about to make Noiz share, but enough of one that could really describe the cold sort of nature the kid has.

He likes him though, despite their bickering and what not, Gyro tends to enjoy bickering as long as it doesn't actually get heavy. The more he learns about Noiz, at least about his behavior and personality, the more he likes just being around him. That, and the more he's around him, the more he feels like he really needs to buckle down and become a doctor in this world, for people like Noiz. He wants to really help him, it's frustrating when he keeps falling short with bringing Noiz's feeling back. Hurts like a bitch every time Noiz asks why it never lasts too.

Gotta be something he can do...

Yukimaru Samurai Champloo
He was no one to him, didn't even really meet the guy on his own free time. No, he met him after he apparently got a good friend of his so wound up they nearly killed themself. If was from there Gyro force a meeting. Whooped the kid's ass, and sealed his fate.

Saying he doesn't like him would be an understatement, but 'hate' is still too strong of a word. He doesn't like him for a lot of reasons. He didn't at first and now he doesn't even more, though Yukimaru getting turned into some snake beast and fucking him up the ass definitely plays a big part. Yeah, fucking him up the ass, literally. First time Gyri's ever opened his back doors and Yukimaru definitely took a ram to them to jar them open, it didn't leave a good impression.

Now? Well this guy can burn for all he cares, he just wishes Jin wasn't so wound up about him. It makes exacted revenge on Yukimaru more annoying than he'd like.

Arietta Tales of the Abyss
This girl, seriously, how does he keep just happening on her in these ridiculous situations? Alleyways, being brought to another planet, stuck in old factories, it's like the world is FORCING him to deal with this little girl-

And then forcing him to see her as more than just little.

She's young, but honestly is around Tanaka's age too. Seems to Gyro that a lot of people here are pretty young. No, it's not about her age, it's about everything else. She's small as hell, and has a tendency to come off as well, little. Still, it's hard to see this girl as so young when you see what she's been through, what she's going through, and where she might end up.

On one end? It's not his damn business and she's gonna do what she wants and if he's around for it, well, he might as well enjoy it. On another- he can't help but be unsure, to wonder if it's a good idea for a place like this to make someone so young so comfortable with things that were probably best left to those older. Maybe he just needs to see her in action, see her defend herself, something. But for now he's just happy she ends up on his lap rather than some perverted psychos. That and he fuckin' thanks Liger for being such a bro. Thanks for being such a cool cat.

Iroha Gyakuten Yoshiwara
Knowing this guy's been an up and down roller coaster of he's still trying to find the right word. Everything started out with him making fun of the guy. Called him a horse fucker, poked at him for being such a shit to his Pet, but maybe the situation was more complicated than he saw. He doesn't know. So far he's pretty sure this person just has a lot of odd opinions on things. Still, that start in their relationship never would've pointed to what it is now.

Iroha's started to court him, apparently to be his Pet. It's not really something Gyro understands, he doesn't really get why Iroha seems so adamant, what did he do to get this sort of attention? Wasn't Iroha just trying to make some deal with him a while ago to best Gyro to make him stop poking fun at him? And now Iroha wants him more in his life. Either the dude's a masochist or stupid.

Thing is- he's been enjoying it. Whatever this is. He's not about to roll over for the guy, and then- NOT just rolling over? Fighting at him constantly, this chase game? It's fun. It's enjoyable to mess with him, and honestly not too terrible to be swatted at right back. Maybe it was just Gyro's love of competition that has him still interacting with him despite how it started and despite how much Jin dislikes him. Iroha seems relatively harmless by now, that's for sure, not a threat, so no need to get up in arms. Instead he keeps playing along, and so does Iroha, and it's just... nice.

He doesn't want to know where it'll wind up, how it'll go, he'd rather it just not end for a while as it stays good, though it's tough. Jin makes it tough, should he be more on edge like Jin about Iroha? Maybe Gyro's own confidence is getting in the way here, or maybe he's got a problem not seeing through something when he's enjoying himself.

Kaname Chidori Full Metal Panic!
Often times it'll seem like these two don't get along, and yeah, maybe from her end she'll think that, or dislike him, he doesn't know himself. But from his end? He likes her. She's messed with him, bothered him, pranked him, but the girl has spunk, and while she bitches at him from time to time he's seen through her anger to what it is. She's a shy girl in there he thinks, doesn't like being too honest.

But hey. So does he. They're pretty similar in that, but the girl can really roll with the punches and she never seems to actually get mad at him despite all her hitting and cursing. She's fun, has a good sense of humour, and happens to be really easy on the eyes. Their relationship's pretty casual at best, but he can see himself getting more comfortable around Chidori. Tough to say if it'll ever get beyond that though. Like I said, these two?

Damn similar.

It takes a crate of TNT for you to even make a crack in their shells, so opening up to eachother? Unlikely. But as far as Gyro sees it, he likes where it's at.

Fran Final Fantasy XII
An absolute babe, rabbit or not, though he just calls her a rabbit now to poke fun. Fran is a bombshell in his book and probably right at the top of his list for a booty calls.

She's strong, confident, knows what she wants and won't flinch to get it. She started off just as that, this sexual item, someone he laid the Gaze on and hard. But really, she wasn't just that, he found out. This girl, she seemed strong but she is strong. The sort of person he really wants on his side, someone deserving of fighting along with him. The sex? A plus, a great big one, and he'd love to keep that ball rolling. But it quickly became more than that.

Fran's really something, he's seeing that now. A lot of women in this world have proven to him they were a force. She's got that, on top of being exotic and a great lay. He's gone out and explored the world here with her once and he'll be damned if they can't go out and do it again. Just being on the road with someone like Fran will be a great getaway from everything else this place throws at him.

Rider Fate/Zero
Yet another person he wants by his side when he's riding around the wastelands here. But can you blame him? After finding out Rider is none other than Alexander the Great, or at least some version of him, Gyro can't help but want to be around the guy, even look up to him. The biggest flaw in their relationship in Gyro's opinion is how little he's been around him so far. But maybe this was the start to something?

No man that loves and treats his horse like that could be all bad in his book, and so far Rider's just stacks upon stacks of Great.
