Instead it's just a simple recording on whatever mic is available around her. What Gyro gets is a recording of Kaname singing The Beach Boys' God Only Knows, but because of her accent she enunciates a little more to make it clearer. But that's assuming he knows English (which she had done giving his choice of songs to send her)! So she follows up with:]

Well yeah, English is my second language. Learned it in middle school.

And jeez, it's no big deal. I sing all the time for fun.

Of course it is! I used to get my friends together for karaoke sessions after major tests! Once we reserved the place for 10 hours.
